There’s a Hole There! Who Knew? Holey-Moley!

Holey-Moley A New Web Site Is Coming!

I was very fortunate one time to be approached by a pair of Sandhill Cranes, who then struck several poses for me. Not only that, but on that day I was borrowing a friend’s 105mm full frame Nikkor lens. The perfect ‘portrait’ lens. Very fortunate.

We should be aware that these beautiful birds can be aggressive, and that they have wicked talons, and as well they can put that beak through the skull of a small animal. More good fortune: I was keeping a palm tree trunk in-between me and the Sandhill Cranes.

For certain, you will want to know, that aside from getting some very frightening looks, please know that no Realtors were harmed in the making of my Sandhill Crane photos.

Soon, I will share more of my crane photos. I have previously made a calendar with them, for friends and family, and I might someday make it possible to order a Sandhill Crane calendar on this website.

Also I suppose it’s a good time to say this: ALL photos on this website were taken by myself, Peter Taylor, (unless I’m in the photo), and ALL are under absolute and complete Copyright protection. There are no exceptions.

The photos here are real photos. If there are any photos on this website that I did not take, it will be clear.

Generally, I do very little editing or enhancing of my photos. I frame what I want and therefore crop as I shoot, and don’t usually further crop except as the image container requires it.

This site is just getting underway. Thank you for visiting!
